Taruto

In Japan, tarts typically take the form of a pie filled with fruit and so on, but in Matsuyama, ‘taruto’ underwent a unique evolution. Sweet bean paste containing yuzu is made into a Swiss roll which is normally served with tea. It’s a popular souvenir and gift.
