Sōgō Kōen Park

This park was created to mark the 100th anniversary of the municipal administration of Matsuyama City. An observation platform modeled on a European castle was built on the mountaintop to symbolize the friendship with sister city Freiburg. The park affords an unbroken view of the Matsuyama Plain. There are seasonal flowers and a wide selection of playground equipment, making it enjoyable for adults and children alike. It’s also home to the Matsuyama Archaeological Museum and Archaeological Centre.
