Sunrise Itoyama Cycling Terminal

Cycling terminal located near the foot of the Kurushima Kaikyō Bridge. Serving as a Shikoku-side hub for travel on the Setouchi Shimanami Kaidō route, a combined lodging and bicycle rental facility with an attached restaurant as well. Lodging facilities here offer views of the islands in the Seto Inland Sea and the Kurushima Kaikyō Bridge from every room. For cyclists and bicycle enthusiasts, the area is known as a “holy ground for cyclists,” offering chances to take in the experience of cycling out over the sea, and some enjoy walking the course as well. The central bicycle rental (tel. 0848-22-3911) offers a full range of rental options starting at ¥3,000/day (¥1,000 for elementary school students and younger), including tandem bicycles built for two, electric-assist bicycles, children’s bikes, and e-bikes.
