Towel Museum Ichihiro

Imabari boasts the greatest production of towels in Japan, and this museum is the world’s first museum dedicated to towels. It presents Imabari’s towel culture. Here you can watch the towel manufacturing process, enjoy towel art, and purchase a wide variety of towel products and art, as well as special products of Shikoku. There’s an exhibition room devoted to Tove Jansson’s Moomin, and there are bronze statues of Moomin and friends in the European garden where flowers bloom in all seasons. You can enjoy authentic Chinese food in the restaurant, and refreshments in the Moomin café and garden café.
