This month-long fair that enlivens Dōgo’s summers begins with festival called the Yugama Yakushisai which offers prayers for the prosperity of Dōgo Onsen. Also, happening on the first two days is the Dōgo Mura Matsuri. During the month, many forms of entertainment can be enjoyed every day in the vicinity of Dōgo Onsen Honkan such as live music, traditional performing arts, and taiko drums. Various other events are also held in many spots around the Dōgo region.
