Statues of Botchan and Madonna donated by a private organization to promote Matsuyama, which was the stage of Soseki Natsume’s novel Botchan.
Located near the entrance of the Matsuyama Castle Ropeway Shinonome-guchi Station, two stylish statues welcome tourists and citizens.
